“I can’t say anything until the investigation is complete, but it seems unlikely that the missile was launched from Russia,” US President Biden said.
US President Joe Biden met with world leaders in Bali, where he is in Bali for the G20 Leaders Summit, following the news that a missile fell on Polish soil.
Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Biden expressed his condolences to the relatives of those who died in the incident and said, “We agreed (with the leaders) to support Poland in the investigation of the explosion on Polish soil on the border with Ukraine. As the investigation continues, we will work together and determine our next step.”
Biden said that Russia attacked Ukraine’s critical infrastructure even as the G20 Summit in Bali was underway, adding, “What Russia is doing is completely unconscionable.”
