Washington Post: Trump hid documents on another country’s nuclear capabilities

Trump's last attempt also failed

The FBI seized a document on a foreign government’s nuclear capabilities and military defenses during a search of former US President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home.

According to the Washington Post, citing sources close to the matter, some of the documents found at Trump’s residence were ‘top secret’, but the news report did not name the country whose defense and nuclear capabilities were mentioned.

Among those seized by the FBI were top secret documents that required special authorizations.

FBI agents found highly sensitive classified documents when they searched Trump’s home on August 8, and Justice Department lawyers requested additional warrants before they were allowed to see certain documents.

Trump turned over 15 boxes to the National Archives and Records Administration in January, nearly a year after leaving office. The boxes contained 184 documents classified as ‘private, confidential and top secret’.
