Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky rejected the Russian accusation that Ukraine was responsible for the murder of Darya Dugina in a bomb attack in Moscow, saying, “This is absolutely not our responsibility.”
Zelensky made statements after the 2nd Summit of the Crimean Platform, which was held in the Ukrainian capital Kiev with the participation of leaders and senior officials from about 60 countries and international organizations.
Referring to the statement of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) that it was determined that Ukrainian special services were behind the bombing of Dugina, Zelenskiy said, “This is absolutely not our responsibility. (Natalya Vovk, who allegedly killed Dugina) is not a citizen of our state.”
Darya Dugina, the daughter of prominent Russian political expert Aleksandr Dugin, was killed when the car she was in exploded near the town of Odintsovo in the Moscow region on August 20.
The FSB announced that Ukrainian special services had been identified as being behind Dugina’s murder in a bomb attack.
Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, told Ukrainian television today that his country had nothing to do with Dugina’s murder, rejecting Russia’s claims.
