Ray-Ban Stories gains WhatsApp and Messenger support
It was stated that Ray-Ban Stories will receive useful ‘hands-free’ innovations. Mark Zuckerberg shared that it is now possible to make WhatsApp calls, listen to messages and send end-to-end encrypted messages on the glasses.
The Meta CEO also said that very soon, Facebook Messenger or WhatsApp messages can also be answered using voice commands. All these features will make Ray-Ban glasses more functional.
Ray-Ban Stories is the result of a partnership between Facebook and Ray-Ban’s parent company EssilorLuxottica and hit the shelves in September. The glasses allow you to communicate with friends, family and other objects around you thanks to the screen on the lenses.
Available in 2021, Ray-Ban Stories attracts attention with its stylish frame design. With two 5 Megapixel cameras, the glasses can record photos or 30-second videos. You can also listen to music and make phone calls through in-frame speakers.
New hands-free features make the glasses even more useful. Ray-Ban Stories owners can now make WhatsApp calls, listen to messages or send messages.
The price of Ray-Ban Stories is 299 dollars. It is unclear whether the smart glasses will officially come to Turkey.
