Asus Rog Phone 6 is on the horizon: 18GB RAM!

Asus, which has been producing mostly for gamers in recent years, is also in a considerable position in the smartphone industry. In particular, the manufacturer, which attracts a large audience with its gaming phones, brings more and more jaw-dropping hardware to phones. Asus Rog Phone 6, which is expected to be the next generation, was one of the most curious gaming phones. Finally, the first leak about the phone came.

Asus Rog Phone 6 comes with 18GB RAM and 6000 mAh battery

Until now, the series has always focused on delivering top performance, but it also aimed to deliver good cooling performance. The company has recently increased the amount of time it spends on cooling, and as a result of this work, it was able to pave the way for more powerful components to fit in a phone. The new generation Asus Rog shows the color of this fruit.

Reliable analyst DigitalChatStation claimed that the following features are coming:

  • Display: 6.78-inch, Full HD, Samsung OLED
  • Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor
  • 18GB RAM
  • 6000 mAh dual battery and 65W fast charging
  • 64MP camera and two sensors
  • Under-screen fingerprint reader
  • 229g weight, 10.39mm thickness

While these features take performance to the extreme, weight and thickness are also important considerations. Being a gaming phone and having a 6000 mAh battery inevitably brings a large volume. If this list is correct, we will see an extremely heavy and thick phone. Considering that its purpose is gaming, we expect that those who will buy this phone will focus on performance rather than design.

Asus announced that it will unveil this phone on July 5th. If this happens, Asus Rog Phone 6 could be the first phone to use the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. Opening with a phone that pushes the limits of the processor will show us the real levels this processor can reach.
