Prosecutors are preparing a file to charge him with murder
The attacker, whose identity was not disclosed, pulled a gun and opened fire during a dinner attended by church members, killing an 84-year-old man and a 75-year-old woman.
The attacker, for whom prosecutors were preparing a file to charge him with murder, was prevented from shooting more people by one of the participants at the dinner and handed over to the police.
At a press conference after the shooting, church officials cited other recent mass shootings in the United States and prayed for a change in the country’s gun laws “to protect everyone.”
