But it recently emerged that a vulnerability was identified in the company’s app store that allowed free downloads of paid software.

AppGallery, which has played a critical role in meeting users’ application and game needs after Huawei lost Google support in 2019, has recently been on the agenda with an interesting explanation. This vulnerability, identified by developer Dylan Roussel in recent months, provides the medium for free download of paid software.
According to Dylan Roussel, this is not a serious security issue. However, the store’s API provides no protection for paid apps, causing users to get a valid APK download link without the need to pay or even log in to an account.
The interesting thing is that Huawei has not taken a concrete step for a long time despite being informed about the issue. The developer said that he informed the company about the vulnerability via e-mail 13 weeks ago, but the problem has not yet been fixed. Finally, he added that the company contacted him some time ago and acknowledged the vulnerability. However, it is a matter of curiosity for the moment whether the problem is corrected or not.
