A shooting attack on a high school in Bremerhaven, in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia (KRV), reportedly wounded one person and arrested a suspect in the incident.
Bremerhaven police said in a statement that a major police operation was underway in the city centre and asked residents not to use Martin-Donandt Square and the streets leading to the square.
In the statement, it was stated that the gunman who attacked the Lloyd-Gymnasium was caught and that a person injured in the incident was being treated in hospital.
A man arrested in Leipzig
On the other hand, according to another statement from the police, a 21-year-old man who was preparing a political attack in the city of Leipzig was arrested.
The person in question was recorded to have shared images of the preparation of the school attack on social media.
