Melitopol Air Base, west of Mauripol, the most strategic port city in eastern Ukraine, was hit by Russian aircraft.

“Ukrainian border guards have abandoned their duties and are coming to the territory of the Russian Federation. Twenty-six officers from ukraine’s State Border Guard refused to continue their service on Ukrainian territory and arrived at the Troyebortnoye checkpoint of the FSB border department in the Bryansk region at 11.15am.” It was also reported that at 12.10pm, 16 guards arrived at the Dzhankoi checkpoint of the border department in Crimea.
UKRAINIAN MILITARY PLANE CRASHES
A Ukrainian Armed Forces military plane with 14 people on it crashed south of the capital Kiev. “A Ukrainian Armed Forces military plane carrying 14 people crashed between Zhukivtsi and Trypillya in the Kiev region. Investigations are underway to determine the total loss of life.” The statement did not say whether there was Russian interference in the plane.
