The final turn has been entered for Elden Ring, developed by FromSoftware, which made its name with productions such as Bloodborne, Dark Souls and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and is expected to be released for a long time.
Yasuhiro Kitao, one of the game’s production team, said in a special podcast that the game is ready for sale. Noting that Elden Ring has now been given the status of ‘gold’ and that the development process of the game has been completed, Kitao also mentioned how long it will take to finish the construction, which will explore the middle world.
Elden Ring finally arrives
First introduced at the Sony PlayStation conference at E3 2019 and scheduled for release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows, Elden Ring was later announced for the next generation of consoles. The production, which was announced to be released on 21 January 2022, was last postponed until 25 February 2022 with a statement made within the past month.
Directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki and guided in the design of the world by award-winning legendary writer George R.R. Martin, the production is in its final stages. Speaking on a podcast in Japan earlier this week, Yasuhiro Kitao, one of the game’s production team, announced that the development of Elden Ring had been completed.
Kitao, who said the game would definitely not be postponed again, was also asked how long it would take to finish Elden Ring in total.
Kitao said the gameplay time will vary depending on the player’s abilities and how much time he will spend in the game, but said that during the construction phase, the course of the game is set to be completed in a total of 30 hours. There are dozens of hours of side material and things that can be done in the game, the producer said, adding that if you focus only on the main story, you should fork out about 30 hours.
