It is stated that the lawsuits filed against the US President Donald Trump after her transfer of office may hurt her head.
US President Donald Trump and his close circle have faced many private and criminal cases since their transfer to the White House. However, it is stated that all these cases may cause Trump’s head after his immunity is lifted when he handed over the task to the new US President Joe Biden.
Speaking to the US press, legal experts say that with Trump leaving office, things could escalate against Trump in most cases.
Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance says the investigation will now focus on areas such as financial records, banking, taxes, insurance fraud, and business record fraud, apart from the case in which Trump was accused of paying two women with whom he had sexual intercourse before the election “to keep quiet.”
One possible criminal case cited in the Reuters analysis is based on Trump’s payment of only $ 750 federal income tax in 2016 and 2017.
There is another active lawsuit filed for tax corruption in New York against Trump’s family business, Trump Organization.
On the other hand, E. Jean Carroll, one of the former authors of Elle Magazine, who claimed that Trump raped him in the 90s, filed a libel case against the president for “lying for the sale of the book”. The rape case was also stuck with the presidential bureaucracy, and some experts state that under Biden, the Ministry of Justice may stop protecting Trump in these cases.
Summer Zervos, one of the participants of the reality show “The Apprentice”, which Trump is the producer of and competes with young people in the business world, also accuses Trump of physical abuse. Zervos filed a lawsuit alleging that Trump forcibly kissed him in 2007 and later physically abused him in a hotel. After Trump called Zervos a “liar”, a new defamation case was opened and Trump said “he had immunity in the case because he was president.” It is expected that this case will be mobilized when it becomes untouchable.
