White House National Security Council Spokesperson Adrienne Watson issued a written statement on Iran’s attack on Israel.

“Iran has launched an airstrike against Israel. President Biden’s message is clear: Our support for Israel’s security is unwavering. The United States stands with the people of Israel and supports their defense against threats from Iran.”

Stating that US President Joe Biden returned to the White House today and closely followed the developments with his national security team, Watson emphasized that US officials are in contact with their Israeli counterparts at all times.

England

“I condemn in the strongest terms the Iranian regime’s reckless attack on Israel. Iran has once again shown that it intends to sow chaos in its own backyard,” British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said in a post on his X account.

Emphasizing that the UK will continue to defend the security of Israel as well as all regional partners, including Jordan and Iraq, Sunak said: “We are working urgently with our allies to stabilize the situation and prevent further escalation. No one wants more bloodshed.”

France

“France condemns in the strongest terms the attack launched by Iran against Israel,” Sejourne said on his X account.

Stating that Iran has crossed a new threshold in its destabilization actions with this unprecedented step, Sejourne said that Iran is risking an escalation of military tension in the region.

Sejourne said France reaffirmed its commitment to Israel’s security and expressed its solidarity with the country.

Iran also announced the launch of a comprehensive attack on Israel with drones.

Netherlands

Mark Rutte, Prime Minister of the interim government in the Netherlands, stated on his social media account that the situation in the Middle East is very worrying, “Earlier today, the Netherlands and other countries sent a clear message to Iran to stop attacking Israel.”

Rutte said, “The Netherlands strongly condemns the Iranian attacks on Israel. Further escalation must be prevented. We have just been in contact with the Dutch Defense Minister and Foreign Minister about the latest situation. We continue to follow the developments very closely.”

Yesterday evening, the Israeli army announced that Iran had launched a drone attack and that the Israeli air and naval forces were monitoring the drones.
