Oscar-winning actor Kevin Spacey, who was acquitted last year in a sexual assault case against him, was the subject of a documentary.
A documentary about the 64-year-old actor was first announced in 2022. Variety announced the completion of the documentary and revealed details about the two-part production and the release date.
Men talk about their experiences with Spacey
The two-part documentary, which will air on Channel 4 in the UK on May 6 and 7, is titled Spacey Unmasked. The documentary will also be shown on Max in the US, but the screening date has not yet been announced.
The American actor, who previously called the case against him “null and void”, was charged with sexual assault, causing non-consensual sexual intercourse and forcing a person to have sexual intercourse.
After the verdict was announced at the hearing held at Southwark Crown Court in London, Spacey could not hold back his tears and thanked the court.
The documentary includes interviews with several men not connected to the case in Britain who speak for the first time about their experiences with Spacey.
“Spacey Unmasked is a forensic look at a man who was once one of the world’s most admired and respected actors,” according to the documentary’s official description.

Featuring never-before-seen interviews and archival footage, the series explores Spacey’s life from his childhood to his early success on Broadway, followed by his rise and fall to stardom.
