“Israel must stop starving civilians and children and allow sufficient humanitarian aid into Gaza,” Gennez said.

Pointing to the International Court of Justice’s (ICJ) additional injunctions against Israel in the genocide case upon South Africa’s application, Gennez said, “The ICJ decisions are clear. The use of hunger as a weapon of war is a flagrant violation of international law. We must maintain international pressure. Recognition of the Palestinian state will be on the government’s agenda tomorrow.”

In today’s additional injunctions, the ICJ ordered Israel to ensure the unhindered delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza and not to violate the rights of Palestinians.
