Reuters news agency, citing Russian media, reported that the visit is planned for late April or early May at the earliest.
Earlier it was stated that the visit would take place on April 12. If Putin comes to Turkey, it will be the first time he has set foot in a NATO member country since the beginning of the Ukraine war.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the visit would be important for discussing both bilateral and regional issues.
