Microsoft introduced the first artificial intelligence features for Windows 11 a while ago. Important innovations will come to the operating system, especially the GPT-4 supported Copilot assistant. The first of these features is now available for Windows 11 devices.
Windows 11 gets AI voice scrubbing
Microsoft announced that Voice Clarity has expanded beyond Surface PCs to all Windows 11 PCs. Voice Clarity uses some AI technologies such as noise suppression and echo cancellation to improve voice quality.
Until now, Voice Clarity was only available on PCs like Surface Pro X and Surface Pro 9 5G. But with the latest Windows 11 Canary update (Channel 26040), Voice Clarity support is now available for PCs with Intel and AMD processors.
This means that thousands of Windows 11 owners will benefit from AI-powered voice features without the need for special hardware. However, it should be reminded that it is initially offered to members of the Canary program.
Voice Clarity works in the background to clean up audio from apps. This includes popular tools like Discord and Skype. So it will be possible to hear clearer voices in Windows 11 without any features from developers.
Voice Clarity support is the first part of Microsoft’s AI-powered experience. It’s worth noting that AI-enabled Intel and AMD processors will enable more advanced features.
