The European Commission and the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell issued a joint statement on the ICJ’s injunctions against Israel.
“The EU reaffirms its continued support to the ICJ, the main judicial body of the United Nations. The ICJ’s judgments are binding on the parties and they must be complied with. The EU expects their full, prompt and effective implementation.”
The statement also noted that the parties’ right to present arguments will not be affected by today’s decision.
