In the US, an Atlas Air cargo plane caught fire in the air due to an engine failure shortly after take-off. The plane made an emergency landing at Miami International Airport after moments of panic in the air.
“The crew successfully fulfilled the standard procedure and returned safely to the airport,” Atlas Air said in a statement.

While an investigation into the malfunction is underway, Miami International Airport officials said the Miami-Dade Fire Department responded to the plane immediately after landing and no injuries were reported.
