In a statement on his Telegram channel, Medvedev evaluated Ukraine’s statement that “missile launch systems on Russian territory should be shot down.”

Stating that this would be considered “aggression”, Medvedev said, “This is not the right to self-defense, but clearly a reason for us to use nuclear weapons against such a state.”

Medvedev pointed out that the Russian army constantly organized attacks on military elements in Ukraine, and that various weapons, except nuclear weapons, were used in the attacks.

Yuriy Ignat, the spokesperson for the Ukrainian Air Force Command, stated that their resources would not be enough to shoot down Russia’s S-300 missiles and that launch systems on Russian territory should therefore be hit.
