According to Nostradamus’ 2024 prophecies, the world will face challenges such as global conflicts, royal turmoil, climate disasters and the election of a new Pope.
According to Nostradamus’ 1555 text “Les Propheties” (The Prophecies), the year 2024 will bring a continuation of global strife, royal turmoil and humanitarian disasters.
What did the famous 16th century French prophet of doom Nostradamus predict for the coming year?
While his writings are vague, remember that he is credited with predicting the rise of Adolf Hitler, the 9/11 attacks and COVID.
Before I give you an insight into 2024, it is important to note that the interpretation of Nostradamus’ prophecies is controversial and certainly based more on conjecture than fact.

He has been wrong before. For example, the world was supposed to end in 1999 and he predicted that the Antichrist would come in 2023.
Here is a summary of 2024 in four main prophecies:
War with China
Nostradamus predicted “war and naval battle” and said “The red enemy will turn pale with fear / He will terrorize the Great Ocean”.
Some think that by “Red enemy” he may have meant China.
Prince Harry ‘becomes king’
One of the passages in the “Prophecies” says that the “King of the Isles” will be “driven out by force”.
Some believe that Nostradamus was referring to King Charles III.
Moreover, Nostradamus said that this ruler would be usurped by “one who will have no mark of a king”.
Given that Prince William is the current heir, this means that Prince Harry will be the future king of England.
More climate disasters
“The dry land will become more parched / And there will be great floods when it is seen,” Nostradamus wrote.
He also predicted extreme weather events and world hunger: “massive famine through a wave of pests”.
A new Pope
According to the astrologer’s predictions, Pope Francis may soon be replaced.
“With the death of a very old Pope / A Roman of good age will be elected / It will be said about him that he weakened his vision / But he will sit for a long time and engage in intense activities,” says Nostradamus.
Pope Francis, who turns 87 on Sunday, has been suffering from health problems and was recently forced to miss the UN climate conference due to pneumonia and breathing problems.
