President Erdogan: Netanyahu the Butcher of Gaza

President and AK Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke at his party’s group meeting in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. Reacting to Israel’s attacks on Gaza, Erdoğan said, “Netanyahu has already written his name in history as the butcher of Gaza.” Erdoğan sternly warned the opportunists in the earthquake region and stated that the penalties for exorbitant prices will be increased 10 times.

President and AK Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke at his party’s group meeting in the Turkish Grand National Assembly. Erdoğan reacted to Israel’s attacks on Gaza and said, “Since October 7, our brothers and sisters in Gaza have been subjected to the most treacherous attacks in human history. Their mosques have been bombed, their schools have been turned into ruins, their hospitals have been razed to the ground, the refugee camps where they took shelter have been deliberately targeted. Babies that their mothers could not bear to kiss and smell were brutally slaughtered. They committed genocide against 2 million 300 thousand people who were cut off from food, fuel, bread, water and communication and squeezed into an open-air prison of 360 square kilometers. They committed all kinds of atrocities that are a black stain on the history of humanity. What the victims of Israeli oppression in Gaza have been experiencing since October 7 has been hell. Approximately 16 thousand Gazans, more than 70 percent of whom were women and children, were martyred as a result of Israeli attacks. Over 35 thousand Palestinian brothers and sisters were injured. Two thirds of the buildings in Gaza have been destroyed or rendered unusable.”

Cumhurbaşkanı Erdoğan: Gazze Kasabı Netanyahu

‘WE WILL NOT FORGET THE INACTION OF WESTERN COUNTRIES’

Stating that the health and education infrastructure in Gaza has completely collapsed, Erdoğan said, “Netanyahu, who committed one of the worst atrocities of the last century in Gaza, has already written his name in history as the ‘butcher of Gaza’. This black stain is not only on Netanyahu’s forehead, but also on the forehead of all those who unconditionally support him. This stain of shame will never be wiped clean. We will never forget the crimes against humanity and war crimes committed in Gaza, nor the lack of reaction of Western countries except for one or two. We will try all available means to hold the Israeli government accountable before international law as well as the conscience of humanity. As Turkey, we stand by our brothers and sisters in Gaza with all our means today as we have throughout history. The first and most important issue of our international contacts is the war in Gaza. During our recent visit to Algeria, we discussed all aspects of this issue with President Tebbun and then with Lebanese Prime Minister Mr. Mikati, who visited our country. In our telephone conversation with Mr. Sanchez, the President of Spain, we discussed Gaza. I congratulate Spain for its steadfast and firm stance on this issue.”

‘NETANYAHU ALSO JEOPARDIZES THE SECURITY OF THE JEWS’

Erdoğan stated that they will continue to intensify the contact traffic for Gaza and said, “We see the prisoner exchanges and humanitarian break that started on Friday as a positive development in terms of stopping the bloodshed to some extent. We thank all brotherly countries that contributed to the establishment of the agreement. We are pleased that some of the supplies Gaza needs have been delivered to the region. However, the amount of aid allowed to enter is far from meeting the minimum needs of the people of Gaza. The statements coming from the Netanyahu administration diminish our hopes that the humanitarian break will be transformed into a permanent ceasefire. Netanyahu, who has been cornered in the eyes of the Israeli public opinion, must be prevented from shedding more blood and taking more lives in order to prolong his political life.”

‘WE WILL NOT ALLOW A SINGLE CITIZEN’S NOSE TO BLEED’

Erdogan said that Netanyahu jeopardizes the security of the Israeli people and all Jews by fueling anti-Semitism with his murders in Gaza and added: “Along with anti-Semitism, Islamophobia is on the rise in the world. The irresponsible rhetoric of Western leaders demonizing Palestinians under the pretext of Hamas is being paid for by immigrants living in these countries. As a country with 7 million people living abroad, mostly in Europe, we closely follow all these developments. We will not allow a single one of our citizens to bleed. Despite this fact, we hope that the humanitarian pause will help end the conflict. Our humanitarian aid to our brothers and sisters in Gaza continues. So far, in cooperation with our Egyptian brothers and sisters, we have shipped 12 planes and one ship full of humanitarian aid to El Arish. Our second ship carrying 1500 tons of humanitarian aid is departing today. We are taking care of the treatment of the wounded, especially cancer patients and children, by transferring them to Turkey. The location of the field hospitals we will establish in Gaza is being determined. We have largely completed the evacuation of our citizens in Gaza. God willing, our initiatives will continue in a multidimensional manner in the future. We will accelerate our contacts for the release of hostages and for the ceasefire to become permanent.”
