In the NBA, the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Utah Jazz 131-99 by 32 points in a game in which all-star LeBron James became the first player to pass the 39,000-point threshold.

The 38-year-old James, who finished the game with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists, hit 2,291 three-pointers, passing Vince Carter and becoming the 7th player of all time with the most three-pointers.

Anthony Davis had 26 points and 16 rebounds, while D’Angelo Russell finished with 20 points and 8 assists for the Lakers.

National basketball player Ömer Faruk Yurtseven had 18 points, 6 rebounds and 1 assist for the Jazz, while John Collins had 15 points, 4 rebounds and Collin Sexton contributed 14 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists.

In the other prominent game of the night, Indiana Pacers defeated Atlanta Hawks 157-152 on the road. The game, in which both teams scored a total of 309 points, went down in history as the highest scoring game of the last 32 years in the regular season.
