Previously leaked images of the Fairphone 5 showed that the selfie camera will be embedded in the display and will feature a dual camera setup on the back. The device will have a USB-C port and a physical fingerprint sensor on the side. However, the absence of a 3.5mm headphone jack drew attention.
According to the company, the new model will be made from recycled materials in line with its “commitment to sustainability”. The Fairphone 5 will retain its upgradable design and will also receive security updates for five years.
