A 99-year-old woman finally realized her long-held dream. Annie Duplock had a knife thrown at her in a circus.
Duplock, who lives in Leicestershire in the United Kingdom, applied for her dream to the Zippo Circus, where she worked in the promotional team about 30 years ago.
Her former boss, Martin Burton, accepted the old woman’s request through her daughter. Burton introduced Duplock, who attended the circus’s event on Friday, as follows:
“Annie worked for me 30 years ago, putting up posters. Annie, who was 70 at the time, will be 100 in August.
The circus worker threw several knives at Duplock, who, with the help of one person, took her place in front of the board in the center of the circus. The knives successfully went past the old woman and stuck into the board.
Duplock said after the show:
I’ve always wanted knives thrown in my direction, I’m ready for the next one.
