In the first year of the Russia-Ukraine war, Russia has become the most sanctioned country in the world, surpassing countries such as Iran, Syria and North Korea.

One year into the war Russia launched in Ukraine, Western countries have imposed a large number of sanctions to make Russia pay a heavy economic price.

As the attacks continued, the scope of the sanctions was expanded over time, and sanctions were imposed on Russia in many areas such as finance, energy, transport, media, technology, automobiles, sports and trade.
