Construction output rises in the EU

Construction production in the Eurozone rose by 1.3 percent in October compared to the previous month. Among EU countries, the highest increase in construction production in October compared to the previous month was measured in Slovenia with 8.5 percent, Romania with 5.5 percent and Poland with 5 percent. The largest decreases were recorded in Hungary with 1.8 percent, Portugal and Finland with 0.7 percent and Sweden with 0.4 percent.

The European Statistical Office (Eurostat) published seasonally adjusted construction production data for the European Union (EU) and the Eurozone for October.

Accordingly, construction production in the 19-member Eurozone increased by 1.3 percent in October compared to September. Construction production also rose 2.2 percent compared to October 2021.

Construction production in the EU also increased by 1.3 percent in October compared to the previous month and 2.4 percent compared to the same period of 2021.
