In a message to consumers, the company urged them to “reduce your consumption” in order to stabilize the situation in the power grid.

“A state of alert could be restored”

The alarming red alert level lasted for an hour. Then the system turned green again.

Despite the tense situation, there were no power cuts, the company said in a statement.

However, it warned that a similar alarm situation may occur again when consumption will increase further.
