The Walking Dead universe continues to expand. AMC has announced a new series that will focus on the characters Rick and Michonne.
Launched in October 2010, The Walking Dead, which has gained a huge fan base since then, is getting ready for its finale this year. However, it seems that the excitement of TWD will continue exponentially in a different way.

With its 11th season set to conclude, The Walking Dead continues to move forward with spin-offs, productions that continue in the same universe with a different name and subject. The universe has already seen two spin-offs. It seems that more will be added to these.

AMC Networks announced today at San Diego Comic-Con that Andrew Lincoln as Rick Grimes and Danai Gurira as Michonne will reunite for a new series in the expanding universe around The Walking Dead.
The name of the series has not yet been announced. On the other hand, according to the information, the production will be a 6-part mini-series. It was announced that the production will air in 2023. There are currently three productions in the same universe with TWD. However, this is not the only production to be added to them.
Tales of The Walking Dead will be an anthology series
Tales of the Walking Dead will tell new stories through standalone episodes featuring new characters. Unlike existing The Walking Dead series, it wants to expand the concept of the universe that viewers have been following for years. To do this, each episode will focus on a different character and tell small stories. Characters from the existing series will also appear in the anthology, along with new cast members, potentially offering a different perspective on the increasingly stale hit series.
On the other hand, one more production awaits the TWD universe, although it is not yet clear. The character of Daryl Dixon has undoubtedly been the most acclaimed supporting role in the main series. Aware of the interest in the character, AMC is considering a new production for the character played by Norman Reedus. Filming for this series will begin in early 2023.
