Apple has announced the products it will retire as of July 31. It’s the end of the road for the first MacBook Pro with Touch Bar, which came out in 2016.
Apple has a vintage product category where it adds products that have outlived their useful life and are now considered obsolete. The company updates it periodically and gradually withdraws support from the devices on the list. Finally, 9 more models were added to this list.

End of the road for the first MacBook Pro with Touch Bar
According to information leaked by MacRumors, Apple will add a total of 9 products to its vintage list starting July 31, including the first MacBook Pro with Touch Bar, which was released in 2016.
The MacBook Pro, which debuted in October 2016 in 13- and 15-inch models, came with a new technology called the Touch Bar, which sits above the keyboard and allows for touch control of key functions. However, after a period of time, the company removed this feature from its laptops – except for the 13-inch MacBook Pro.
Apple’s latest decision marks the end of the road for the first MacBook models with Touch Bar. As of the specified date, the devices will fall into the nostalgic category. However, they will still be able to receive service for 2 years.
As of July 31, the products that will be considered vintage;

MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2016, four Thunderbolt ports)
MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2016)
MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2015)
MacBook (12-inch, Early 2016)
iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2015)
iMac (27-inch, Retina 5K, Late 2015)
iPad Pro (9.7-inch, Wi-Fi)
iPad Pro (9.7-inch, Wi-Fi + Cellular)
