NATO officials visited Baykar today and examined Bayraktar Kizilelma and other UCAV and TUAV models.
While Baykar continues to work on Bayraktar TB3 and Kızılelma, it is also working on the integration of new generation guided munitions for Akıncı. In fact, a successful test firing was also carried out in this direction. Today, a group of NATO officials paid a visit to Bayraktar TB3 and Kızılelma to see the UAV, UCAV and TUAV models.

During their visit to Baykar today, NATO officials examined the Bayraktar Kızılelma, or MIUS (Combat Unmanned Aircraft System), as well as the Akıncı TUAV and TB2 UCAV models. Of course, the eyes of not only Europe, but the whole world are on Kızılelma.

Of course, many countries within NATO are working on unmanned aerial vehicles. There are even alternatives to the TB2 and UCAVs in active use. However, the MIUS concept is a step beyond the 5th generation fighter jets.
Although Turkey is currently developing its own jet training and fighter aircraft models, these vehicles, which are completely unmanned and autonomous, will be the sole leaders of the next 100 years. So much so that when we eliminate the human factor from jet aircraft, their true potential emerges. This includes much sharper maneuvers and higher speeds.
But the development of such systems progresses in direct proportion to technology. For example, even Tesla’s autonomous vehicles are still not fully ready for traffic. For such an unmanned jet fighter to distinguish hundreds, perhaps thousands, of targets and friends on the battlefield, navigate on its own and perform missions, it needs a very robust infrastructure.
Therefore, in the next 20 years, we will see Bayraktar Kızılelma evolve to very different places. In fact, with the contribution of alliances and organizations such as NATO, which have a high interest in the project, a faster path can be taken than expected.
