TikTok unveils new program ‘TikTok Pulse’
Ahead of the 2022 NewFronts presentation, TikTok introduced a new advertiser program like YouTube Select, ‘TikTok Pulse’. Both programs bring together the best performing content and brand-safe creators. Creators and publishers with at least 100,000 followers in the first phase will be eligible for the revenue-sharing program, the company said.
TikTok’s General Manager for North American global business solutions, Sandie Hawkins, said in a statement that the program will be launched in the United States in June. The company did not specify how many manufacturers it would approve for the program. However, the new program is thought to help the platform attract more creators.
In December, the platform also logged into the ‘Creator Next’ portal, which creators can use to make money. Here, producers can learn how to accept virtual gifts and payments from viewers of their videos and live content.
For this, manufacturers with at least 10 thousand followers can apply. The company is now adding ad revenue sharing to creators’ monetization opportunities. It is not yet clear how much the producers will earn. In addition, the company believes that producers will make significant money if the program achieves a positive result.
