19-year-old Jack Sweeney, famous for his Twitter account following Elon Musk’s private jet, was entitled to a free Tesla to close the account. However, Musk’s young fan rejected this offer with reason.
Jack Sweeney previously rejected the Tesla CEO’s $5,000 offer to close the account and said he could get a free Tesla from Musk in exchange for deleting the account. However, Sweeney seems to have given up on this decision as well.

Scott Painter, CEO of Autonomy, a car rental company, offered the young man who followed Musk’s jet a Tesla Model 3 subscription if he deleted his account. The offer, uncovered by the Wall Street Journal, is reportedly a three-year rental subscription. Sweeney, on the other hand, did not accept the offer, saying that he was not interested in the subscription.
In an interview with The Journal, Sweeney said he actually turned down a Tesla rental offer. “I want my own car. I don’t want to have to give it back three years later. If I had a real Tesla, I would close the account.” said.
The jet tracker account run by the 19-year-old uses bots that monitor public air traffic data. After turning down $5,000 from Musk to delete the account, Sweeney said he turned down the offer because the satisfaction he got from managing the account was more than $5,000.
Elon Musk asked Jack Sweeney to stop following him for reasons such as privacy and security, and offered $5,000 for this. Young, on the other hand, found Musk’s offer low and stated that he wanted 50 thousand dollars or a free Model 3.
Stating that he decided to expand the business a little more, the young man announced that he has rolled up his sleeves for a new platform that allows the private jets of billionaires like Elon Musk to be followed moment by moment. Now, he added that names such as Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos are next.
