My Father’s Violin, starring Engin Altan Duzyatan and Belçim Bilgin, made netflix’s TOP 10 list.

Netflix has shared the current version of its regularly released list of ‘most watched tv shows and movies’. The digital streaming platform made available to users the most watched English and non-English series and english and non-English movies during the week covering 24 January – 30 January.

In this week’s Global Top 10 list, My Father’s Violin, starring Engin Altan Duzyatan, Belçim Bilgin and Selim Erdogan, gained attention. BkM-produced musical film directed by Andaç Haznedaroglu topped the platform’s ‘non-English language films’ category, surpassing 9 more productions.

My Father’s Violin is gaining traction in 58 countries

According to netflix’s Global Top 10 page, My Father’s Violin was watched for 12.38 million hours in the week of January 24th – 30th. The film topped the non-English language film category and featured amandla, Perfect Strangers, Shyam Singha Roy, Lost Bullet, How I Fell in Love with a Gangster, Photocopier, Blood Red Sky, Rogue City and Vicky and Her Mystery.

My Father’s Violin; It made netflix’s Top 10 list in 58 countries including the United States, Argentina, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, South Africa and Portugal. The film, which also features State Theatre actor Yener Sezgin, remains in 1st place in Turkey; Followed by Red Notice and Don’t Look Up.

The subject of The Violin of My Father

The film is about a life adventure that begins when a little girl named Ozlem, who lost her father, is forced to move in with her uncle, a famous violin virtuoso. The pair, who combine their passion for music with common denominators, try to warm to each other, while all sorts of events are conveyed to the viewer in a taste of drama.
