Filming for “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”, which was postponed due to the injury of lead actress Letitia Wright, has resumed.
Filming has resumed for the Black Panther sequel “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” which was halted due to a serious injury to lead actress Letitia Wright, who plays Shuri.
Filming, scheduled to resume last Monday, was postponed because several actors and crew, including Lupita Nyong’o, tested positive for the corona virus, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The ryan coogler-directed film, which sources say will last about four weeks, will resume shooting in Atlanta next week.

FILMING POSTPONED AFTER LEAD INJURED
Letitia Wright was injured while filming a scene in Boston in August last year. Production was halted and filming was postponed in late November after the “Wakanda Forever” crew filmed as much as they could without Wright as he continued to recover at his London home.
Following the death of chadwick boseman, who played King T’Challa/Black Panther, in August 2020, the sequel will continue the story without Boseman. In addition to Letitia Wright, the film stars Martin Freeman, Lupita Nyong’o, Angela Bassett, Daniel Kaluuya and Danai Gurira.
