A single man in England advertises on billboards in hopes of finding a wife
BBC: A single man in England advertised on large billboards he had rented in the hopes of finding a wife in the capital city of London and Birmingham.
The billboards of a 29-year-old financial adviser named Mohammed Malik read, “Save me from an arranged marriage.”
Stating that he is not against arranged marriage, Malik said that finding someone by himself is his priority.
Malik, whose search for a wife has been unsuccessful until now, has also set up a website called “findmalikawife.com” (Find a wife for Malik) as part of the announcement.
Stating that he received hundreds of messages after the advertisement published on the billboards on Saturday, Malik said, “I have not had the opportunity to read the messages yet. I will need a little time. I had not thought about this part.”
