Pope meets with Aylan baby’s father in Erbil
Pope Francis, the spiritual leader of the Catholics, came together with the baby’s father, the Syrian Aylan Kurdi, who came to the fore with his lifeless body, which was hit by the sinking of the rubber boat in Bodrum, Muğla during his contacts in Erbil, Iraq.
In the statement made by the Vatican, it was noted that the Pope had a meeting with the father of Aylan, Abdullah Kurdi, after the ceremony held at the Franso Hariri Stadium in Erbil.

In Bodrum, 5 people, including Syrian 3-year-old Aylan Kurdi, died as a result of the sinking of the rubber boat on 2 September 2015 while trying to move to Greece, as well as her brother and mother.
