Until the children were 30 years old, 40 were diagnosed with personality disorder, all of them in severe cases requiring inpatient treatment.
It was stated that the stress that mothers are exposed to may be due to relationship problems, social factors and psychological problems, while it is not yet known how stress during pregnancy increases the risk of personality disorder in the child.
Previous studies have revealed that there is a link between stress during pregnancy and depression, anxiety disorder, and schizophrenia.
Experts pointed out that during pregnancy, women should be supported at home and at work, rest and explain how they feel.
