Channel 12 television reported that this step would allow the War Cabinet to decide on the response to an Iranian attack without the need for approval by the Security Cabinet.

Iran-Israel tensions

Yesterday, Iran launched attacks on Israel with hundreds of kamikaze drones, ballistic and cruise missiles.
Iran said some military targets were hit, while Israel said most of the attacks were intercepted by air defense systems, but a missile hit a military base in the south.
