The Gallup, a research company based in the US, asked 1016 people between March 1-20 about their views on the presidential elections to be held on November 5.
According to the results, 29 percent of respondents think that neither Biden nor Trump would make a good president.
On the other hand, 4 percent of the respondents think that both Biden and Trump would make a good president.
Thirty percent of the respondents believe that Biden and 35 percent believe that Trump would be a good president. The 2 percent of the respondents left the question unanswered.
Almost half of the 29 percent could vote for a third candidate
Meanwhile, 29 percent of the 29 percent who think that neither Biden nor Trump would make a good president were asked about their voting preferences in the election.
Accordingly, 33 percent said they would vote for Biden or Trump, while 46 percent said they would vote for a third candidate.
17 percent stated that they would prefer not to vote in the elections. The remaining percentage belonged to those who did not express an opinion.
In Gallup’s 2020 election poll, 25 percent thought that neither Biden nor Trump would make a good president.
The rate of those who thought Biden would make a good president was 36 percent, while the rate of those who supported Trump was 33 percent.
Accordingly, support for Biden decreased by 6 percent, while Trump gained 2 percent.
