The price of the cryptocurrency Bitcoin fell below $ 65,000, declining with uncertainties about the steps to be taken by the US Federal Reserve (Fed) in the coming period.

According to data from analysis company Coinmarketcap, the value of the global cryptocurrency market, including Bitcoin, decreased by 6.7 percent in 24 hours to $ 2 trillion 460 billion.

Analysts state that the decline in the prices of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies is due to decreasing expectations that the Fed will start cutting interest rates in June and increasing uncertainties about the calendar.

Bitcoin, which fell more than 7.4 percent in the last 24 hours as of 16:40 today, fell to 64 thousand 712 dollars.

Bitcoin gained about 157 percent last year.

Ethereum, which ranks 2nd in terms of market capitalization, also lost nearly 10 percent in the last 24 hours and fell to $ 3,242.

Ethereum also broke a record by rising above 4 thousand 800 dollars in 2021.
