According to Yonhap, police officials announced that the USFK soldier stationed at the US base in Pyeongtaek stole a car.

Authorities said the soldier rear-ended 2 vehicles waiting at traffic lights with the car he stole.

Sharing the information that 2 South Korean citizens were injured in the accident, the authorities reported that the US soldier was found to be intoxicated during the investigation.

The soldier in question was handed over to the USFK and plans to work with the USFK authorities to follow up on the investigation, officials said.
