US-based battery brand Energizer has distributorships in 45 countries around the world. Now considered one of Duracell’s leading competitors and considered by many to be one of the few battery brands that can compete with Duracell, it also offers personal care products. In addition, the company is also involved in the production of smartphones. Most recently, it came out with a smartphone equipped with an unprecedented battery with a capacity of 28,000 mAh.
Energizer is a well-known brand in the battery industry and offers its smartphones under license from Avenir Telecom. As the Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona event is approaching, so is the first teaser for the Energizer P28K model, which the company plans to launch soon. The “28” stands for its 28,000 mAh battery, the largest battery capacity ever integrated in a smartphone.
The GSMA MWC exhibition series is the world’s largest mobile industry event and a major global conference bringing together mobile operators, device manufacturers, technology providers, resellers and content providers.
As world-renowned brands will introduce their new products at this important event, Energizer will also take part and will draw attention with its 28,000 mAh capacity battery. The battery will be used in the Energizer P28K smartphone.
Energizer Mobile announced that the P28K will be a rugged phone with a 6.78-inch FHD display and a 16 MP front camera. On the back, there will be a 60 MP main camera combined with two 20 MP sensors. There is no further information about the other features of the phone at this time. The phone will be officially unveiled at the MWC Barcelona event starting on February 26th.
While Energizer is known for its various products such as power banks, in-car chargers, adapters and personal care products, its entry into the market with a smartphone with such a large battery capacity has aroused great interest in the technology world.
