A THY flight between Istanbul and Antalya was struck by lightning.
According to the information obtained, Turkish Airlines flight number TK-2408 with TC-JHK tail registration took off from Istanbul Airport at 09.25 am to fly to Antalya. The plane was struck by lightning shortly after takeoff.

The pilot of the aircraft then contacted the Istanbul Airport Air Traffic Control Center and informed that he would turn back.
The plane landed smoothly at Istanbul Airport at 10.16 am.
The aircraft was inspected by the technical team.
