Japan earthquake death toll rises to 110

The number of people killed in earthquakes in Ishikawa prefecture in western Japan and on the coast of the Noto Peninsula in this region has risen to 110.

According to NHK, state officials announced that 110 people died in the earthquakes in the region and more than 200 people were missing.

It was reported that at least 10 people were trapped in the city and more than 170 people were trapped in various parts of the province as a result of the landslide in Anamizu city.

It was stated that the evacuation centers in the province already accommodate 31 thousand people.

The Japan Meteorological Agency reported that earthquakes ranging in magnitude from 4 to 7 occurred on January 1, 2, 3 and 4 on the Noto Peninsula and offshore of Isikawa.
