Elon Musk officially buys Twitter

Elon Musk, CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, announced that he bought Twitter. Musk announced it with a statement on his personal Twitter account.

Elon Musk announced on Twitter that he has officially purchased Twitter.

In a press release dedicated to advertisers, Musk said that he aims to create a digital city where thoughts can be expressed freely as a reason for the purchase and stated that making money on Twitter is not a priority.
