President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. A trilateral meeting will also be held in Lviv with the participation of Erdoğan, Zelenskiy and United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan arrived in the western Ukrainian city of Lviv upon the invitation of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskiy.

President Erdoğan, who visited the country for the first time since the start of the Russian-Ukrainian war, held a meeting with Zelensky at the historic Potocki Palace.

AGENDA ITEMS DURING THE VISIT

A trilateral meeting will also be held in Lviv with the participation of Erdoğan, Zelenskiy and United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.

The trilateral meeting will focus on the continuation of the activities of the mechanism established to export Ukrainian grain to world markets and the steps that can be taken to end the Ukraine-Russia war through diplomatic means.

One of the issues to be discussed will be the situation at the Russian-controlled Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant. Russian forces have been launching missile attacks on the plant in recent days, with both sides blaming each other for the attacks.

Erdogan, Zelenskiy and Guterres are expected to face the cameras for a joint press conference after the trilateral meeting.
