Chip manufacturers have completed their final preparations for the VLSI (Very Large Scale Integration) Symposium to be held today. Intel shared details about 13 articles involving the technologies it developed at the VLSI Symposium chip design conference.

The VLSI Symposium is regularly held by the IEEE every year. The event, which will be held in Honolulu Hawaii from June 13-17 this year, has already become the center of attention of technology enthusiasts.

Intel, which participated with technology development, laboratory and design engineering teams, made a statement about the topics. There will be presentations in areas such as CMOS FinFET technology, processor with RISC-V architecture and p-type WSe2.

Intel has increased its investments in RISC-V architecture, which is open source. The company, which announced that it has developed an 8-core RISC-V processor, announced that it will use the CNM (Compute Near Memory) technique for production.

Intel executive Raja Koduri said, “Building the workforce for 2030: How to incorporate great students into the company and what to teach them. I will be here with the presentation.”

The company announced that they have seen a two-fold reduction in high-performance Logic Library space thanks to technology called the Intel 4 process. Using intense ultraviolet to simplify the process flow, the company will use the technologies it has developed in its next-generation processors.

Analysts say Intel needs to invest more in R&D to compete with Apple and AMD. It seems that Intel will rekindle competition with its 13th generation processors.
