Elon Musk threatens to fire Tesla employees

With the end of the pandemic, Tesla is one of the companies that is struggling to bring its employees into the office. But according to a new email, Elon Musk has been harshly involved in calling employees into the office. The Tesla CEO asked employees to either come to the office 40 hours a week or leave the company.

Elon Musk: Either come to the office or leave Tesla
Samuel Nissim, who says he is a Tesla shareholder, has aroused great curiosity with his internal emails shared on Twitter. Tesla CEO Elon Musk allegedly said that his managers have to come to the office for at least 40 hours a week.

In these emails, which have not yet been confirmed by Samuel Nissim and Tesla, the Tesla CEO openly threatens employees. According to Musk, people who don’t work in the office for 40 hours or more a week “must admit that they resign.”

They should pretend to work somewhere else

The email, allegedly sent by Elon Musk, stated: “Anyone who wants to move to remote work must be in the office for at least 40 hours a week or leave Tesla. That’s less than we want from factory workers.”

Elon Musk made a dodging statement about the emails leaked to Twitter. The Tesla CEO, who did not talk about the accuracy of the emails, laid out how he would respond to those who saw face-to-face work as an old model.

In a statement he shared on Twitter, Musk said, “(People who find working in the office obsolete) should pretend to work somewhere else.”

The Tesla CEO hasn’t completely closed the door to remote work, though. He said exceptions could be made for “private contributors” to the company, but this had to be approved by management.
