Sony shared its results for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2022. In this context, the company announced many important data from console sales to subscriber numbers of its services such as PS Plus, and sales decreased in direct proportion to the ongoing chip crisis.
The company sold two million PS5s in the fourth quarter of the fiscal year. The console has seen a decrease of 1.3 million compared to the same period of the previous year, and its total sales to date are 19.3 million. Sony’s other console, the PS4, also suffered the fall. The console sold 100,000 units in the last quarter. It also fell by 900,000 compared to the same period last year. This has sold a total of 117.2 million so far.
