Technical features of Xiaomi 12 have been announced
According to the Counterpoint Research report, Xiaomi, which is the third largest smartphone manufacturer in the world with a market share of 13 percent, is preparing to meet users with its new products in the event it will organize in the coming days. While the Xiaomi 12 series and MIUI 13 version are expected to be introduced at the event, there is a serious increase in the number of leaks as the launch date approaches. Finally, the technical features of the standard model of the series were shared.
Xiaomi 12 technical specifications
Xiaomiui, known for its closeness to the company, has leaked most of the technical specifications of the Xiaomi 12 in the past hours. Thus, very few details about the device remained unknown.
The smartphone will come with a 6.28-inch FHD+ resolution AMOLED panel. At the same time, the screen will have a 120 Hz refresh rate, HDR10 + support, 1500 nits brightness and 419ppi pixel density, while it will be protected by Gorilla Glass Victus technology.
The phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, which was introduced in the past few weeks. The chipset has one 3 GHz Cortex X2 and three 2.5 GHz Cortex A710 cores as high performance. The Cortex A510, which is known as the efficiency core and has low power consumption, runs at 1.8 GHz.
The device, which has 8 GB and 12 GB LPDDR5 RAM options, will use 128 GB and 256 GB internal storage options using UFS 3.1 technology.
While there is a 32 Megapixel selfie camera positioned in the form of a dot on the front, there is a triple camera setup with a 50 Megapixel main camera, 13 Megapixel ultra wide angle and 32 Megapixel telephoto sensor on the back.
The Xiaomi 12 will be powered by a 4,500 mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging, which can be charged via USB-C. Out of the box, it will run the Android 12-based MIUI 13 interface.
At the moment, there is no definite information about which devices the series includes, except for the standard model. However, reports are that Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12X and Xiaomi 12 Pro models will be introduced at the event to be held on December 28.
